The Task Force encourages the public to attend all three of the sessions, or as many as they can: “Peer into the future over the shoulders of the design team. Toss in your inspiration. Tweak the vision.”
FYI – a “Charrette“ is defined as “a final, intensive effort to finish a project, esp. an architectural design project, before a deadline. “

I hope to attend sessions of the charrette. I intend to urge the task force to somehow incorporate the Wells Street truss bridge in its plans.
After viewing the Wells Street bridge and the other two truss bridges last week, I am convinced that we pay way too little attention to our historical structures. It always seems to be easier for the “powers that be” to tear them down.
