In an article appearing in the News-Sentinel this afternoon, the city’s brownfield manager Gary Lyman had the following to say:
“the city has conducted a variety of testing and is in the process of receiving the results, which should be released next week.“I don’t think anybody has an idea about anything,” he said. “There’s a lot of variables right now.” Lyman said any environmental problems could be fixed — depending on how much the city is willing to spend.”
I’m glad to hear that the city has been working on this already. I am eager to read the results next week. Of course the last sentence holds the key. Are we talking $25,000 or $25,000,000 to fix the problem?
